Cessna 172
The Cessna 172 forms the backbone of the FTS fleet and is the primary trainer for both PPL, Night Rating and CPL training. The Cessna 172 has long been a trusted and worthy aircraft in training fleets around the world making it one of the most popular single engine aircraft to date.
Cessna 172RG Cutlass
The Cessna Cutlass is used predominantly for advanced training as it is a complex aircraft having both variable pitch propeller for improved cruise performance and retractable undercarriage. Being a C172 as well means there is easy transition for students between the two types.
Piper Cherokee 140
Our sole Piper Cherokee in the fleet is used as both a basic trainer and for hire and fly purposes. Students can easily convert onto both Cessna and Piper aircraft however it is suggested that you stick to one aircraft type for PPL training.
Piper Twin Comanche
Our light twin trainer which is used for multi-engine CPL training as well as initial multi-engine class ratings. The Piper Twin Comanche is the perfect aircraft to begin your twin experience with decent performance and easy handling.
